App Troubleshooting Guide

*The Bible Verse Buddy App requires an internet connection to work. A slow internet connection causes most problems users have with the app. Try checking your internet before contacting support.

Account Creation: If it will not let you create an account, that means the email address has already been used. Try clicking the “Already have an account” button and logging in with your email and password. If you still can’t log in, try using the “forgot password” button. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. You must check the Terms of Service box to create an account.

Can Not Fetch: If you receive this error, it means that there was a network interruption on your side or ours. Please exit the app and check your network connection. The app should function correctly the next time you open it.

Buttons Not Working: If a button doesn’t perform any actions when you click it, this is also a network problem. Please check your network connection and try again.

Profile Photo Not Centered: Make sure to center the focus of your photo by cropping it using your phone or computer before you try to upload it to your profile. The center of the photo will automatically be used as the focus point of the profile picture.

Deleting a Testimony or Prayer Request: Only the user who created the Prayer Request or Testimony can delete it. If you changed email addresses or created a new account, you will no longer be able to delete these posts. Otherwise, use the blue trash can icon in the top left of the corner to delete the post.
